Squires Construction Group Pty. Ltd. does obtain personal information – including sensitive information – from clients and it’s workers, which may be used for the purpose of application of insurance, such as the Home Owners Warranty, for tax and accounting purposes, or for employment training, payment and superannuation purposes.
We will not disclose personal information to third parties except with where consent has been obtained or in other circumstances where such disclosure is permitted, or required, under the Privacy Act or other legislation.
The principal objectives of our Privacy Policy are:
- To ensure client, project collaborator and worker privacy is considered in all internal & external communications, including marketing.
- To consult with clients, project collaborators and workers on a regular basis on privacy related issues.
- To provide ongoing training and education to ensure that our employees work in accordance to the Privacy Policy.
- To identify, assess, or eliminate, privacy violations through regular review.
- To take a proactive approach to trying to identify privacy breach risks before they happen.
The success of our Privacy Policy is dependent on:

- Pro-active identification of potential risks/threats.
- Compliance with the relevant Privacy Legislation & Regulation ( Privacy Act 1988 (as amended by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000).

- Ensuring that open and honest communication exists between management, clients, project collaborators & workers, allowing for the reporting of privacy risks or breaches by all workers, without reprisal.
